Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports while upholding high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety.

You will prepare quality food and baked goods, manage storage and serve meals per schedules and policies, operate kitchen equipment safely, and help in cleaning and maintaining a sanitary work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to plan.
• Prepare a daily report verifying transactions.
• Store food properly and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Serve meals according to schedules and policies.
• Use and care for kitchen equipment safely.
• Assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Follow cleanliness procedures to ensure a safe kitchen.
