Restaurant Shift Lead — Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the operations of a shift in a restaurant. Coordinate the work of team members assigned to the shift and maintain Company and Brand operational standards to ensure guests leave satisfied.
• Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coach team members to do the same.
• Maintain a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties. Assign shift duties to team members and follow up to ensure completion.
• Direct team and ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations. Coach team members on guidelines for food preparation and production management.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift. Complete end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork and counts as required.
• Communicate any discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
• Guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes.
• Complete reports on all incidents following the company’s 5-minute rule policy.
