Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other food preparation tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Handle food production tasks including dough kneading, topping assembly, baking, and finishing touches to ensure timely service.
• Maintain accurate food handling practices, adhering to all health regulations and dietary guidelines.
• Support the dietary department with meal preparation, catering events, or special dietary requests as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or culinary assistant with a focus on pizza or similar.
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination.
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production environments.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in fast-paced settings.
