Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness across all production and receiving areas. You will sanitize processing equipment, cleanse tanks and filters, and support daily operations to ensure compliance with GMP and FSMA standards.

As part of a team, you will participate in training, complete required paperwork, and adhere to safety procedures. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of sanitation experience is required or preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean production equipment, lint, dust, oil, and grease from equipment.
• Clean processing tanks, vats, and change filters as needed.
• Assist with daily sanitation and production efficiency.
• Clean floors and transport waste to disposal area.
• Participate in training of new hires and transfers.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality policies, and FSMA requirements.
