Ellsworth Creamery in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance on facility systems in a food manufacturing environment. The role requires on-call rotation, strong judgment, and collaboration with operations, sanitation, and maintenance teams to keep the plant safe, functional, and compliant.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in facilities or industrial maintenance, basic PLC awareness, and experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and welding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or building trades preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, doors, docks, lighting, and other facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair general facility issues with limited supervision.
• Complete work orders accurately using the maintenance management system.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for facility and utility equipment and document findings.
• Perform general fabrication and welding tasks for facility upkeep.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in compliance with GMPs.
• Assist senior maintenance staff with production equipment repairs or rebuilds.
