Job summary

Riceland Foods, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on shipping department machinery and dust systems, monitor operations, and support operators as needed.

The role requires standing, climbing ladders, working at heights or in tight spaces, following written and verbal instructions, and being fit-tested to wear respirator equipment; experience with man lifts is a plus and safety training is required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with preventive maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Ability to follow HACCP and Food Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing your work area, asking if you can assist others, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
