Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Mentor, OH is seeking a Food Packer Part Time to assist in assembling and packing orders for shipment. You will receive products, verify quantities, maintain inventories, and help ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Communicate issues to management (cleanliness, safety, security).
• Lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Move, bend, reach and grasp while loading trays with food products.
• Stock inventory.
• Follow AVI policies and procedures including security procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns
• Lift carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Move walk bend reach and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food products
• Stock inventory
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security procedures
• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation
