Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic team member for the Food Packer role in Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities include assembling and filling orders, receiving incoming products, verifying quantities, maintaining inventories, and adhering to safety procedures.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following management directives and AVI policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Communicate issues to management (safety, cleanliness, security).
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp while loading trays.
• Stock inventory.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including security.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped


• Receive products coming into the warehouse


• Verify quantity and description of products


• Maintain accurate physical inventories


• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)


• Lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds


• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food products


• Stock inventory


• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures


• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation

Requirements
