Job summary

The Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Packaging Material Handler to support the production floor, moving materials between the warehouse and production lines and handling cardboard, plastic barrels, and bag film.

Responsibilities include reading production schedules, weighing and counting items, using a pallet jack, and ensuring proper disposal and 5S compliance while maintaining safety protocols. This is an entry-level general labor role based in Hanover, PA.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers; removes excess cardboard and straps to be disposed of properly.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage area or to other designated areas using a manual pallet jack.
• Maintains general housekeeping duties and ensures recyclables are placed in designated bins and 5S compliant.
