D&W Fine Pack in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Machine Operator 1 to operate packaging machinery and help produce high-quality food packaging products. You will follow safety procedures, monitor machines, feed materials, and inspect output for conformance to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines.
• Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Start machines by engaging controls.
• Stop or reset machines and report malfunctions.
• Feed and monitor the speed of machines during production.
• Perform unskilled production work such as feeding machines and packing a variety of products.
• Maintain work area in neat condition.
• Record product, packaging and order information on forms as required.
• Assist other workers with assigned tasks.
