Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for Plant 3 in Eugene/Springfield, OR. You will safely set up, operate, and troubleshoot production and packaging machines to meet daily demand and quality standards.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, up to six months of relevant experience, and basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel). SAP and WMS familiarity is preferred. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with competitive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of machines operator experience with demonstrated accuracy, dependability, safety and teamwork.
• Experience or training as a machine operator with mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging and production machines safely and efficiently.
• Support, train, and provide break relief for qualified positions.
• Manage dump and fill stations to maintain product flow and monitor defects.
• Fill semi-finished goods into 55-gallon drums or 5-gallon pails.
• Supply materials to machines and adjust operations as production evolves.
• Identify abnormalities, escalate when needed, and document downtime and checks.
