Heritage Hall Front Royal in Front Royal, VA is hiring a Food & Nutrition Aide. The role supports food preparation, meal service and kitchen/serving area cleanup with strict health and sanitation practices to ensure residents receive high-quality customer service.

The position offers a full-time morning shift from 5:30am to 1:30pm, four days per week, with every other weekend required, plus a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision and more.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures.
• Ability to work every other weekend is required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in all Food & Nutrition functions including food preparation and serving meals.
• Participate in cleaning up kitchen and serving areas.
• Follow health and sanitary precautions needed for food service.
• Provide quality customer service when interacting with residents.

The Food & Nutrition Aide assists in all Food & Nutrition functions including food preparation, the serving of meals and are involved in the clean-up of the kitchen and serving areas. The Food & Nutrition Aide understands the importance of following health and sanitary precautions needed for food service. They also understand the importance of quality customer service when interacting with residents.
