Responsibilities

• Prepare the microbiological media for in-house food testing purposes.
• Maintain an inventory of microbiological media formats.
• Coordinate the destruction of samples after results entry.
• Maintain autoclave records related to routine analysis.
• Conduct microbiological analyses of food ingredients and products.
• Plating for hygiene indicators and molecular testing.
• Assist in sample preparation and receiving as needed.
• Interpret microbiological data and review.
