Certified Group seeks a Microbiology Technician to join its growing team. Prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental surfaces, applying approved techniques used in testing environments.

You will maintain media and reagents, perform routine quality control, and ensure accurate records while supporting daily operations and safety standards across our FSNS network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of food testing laboratory concepts and procedures.
• Ability to travel is preferred or equivalent education/experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries.
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload.
• Maintain media and reagents for daily microbiological testing.
• Inventory and report expendable supplies required for testing.
• Perform routine quality control monitoring and maintain records.
• Operate in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner.
• Support team goals and participate in FSNS team activities.
