Job summary

The Sunrider Corporation seeks a Laboratory Support role to assist in the day-to-day operation of the Food Laboratory in Midlothian, TX. You will work with scientists to test samples, maintain GLP/cGMP compliance, and document results for product development and quality control.

Responsibilities include sample testing, method application, and equipment upkeep. Strong computer skills and scientific communication are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a scientific discipline; or at least one year of experience in a laboratory and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Must have basic computer and laboratory skills.
• Experience operating rotavapor, moisture balance, FTIR, and HPLC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, collects and tests samples of herbal and food raw materials used in production and/or new product development projects.
• Utilizes standard analytical and microbiological methods to assess tested materials quality.
• Performs occasional testing on finished food and dietary supplement products.
• Maintains laboratory documentation and archiving, managing reference materials and retained samples.
• Process vendor qualification documentation and submits the qualification packages for approval.
• Follows GLP and cGMP standards.
• Maintain equipment logs and lab cleanliness.
• Assist in other areas in the department as needed.
