Job summary

Actalent in Marysville, OH is seeking a Contract Laboratory Technician to support R&D testing of food and beverage samples. You will manage samples, perform moisture, pH, titration, and particle size tests, record results, and maintain GLP-compliant documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00am–5:00pm, onsite. Ideal candidates have an associate or bachelor's in science and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor's in science with related experience preferred.
• Experience in GMP or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Strong proactive cooperation and teamwork in lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage analytical samples from end to end, including receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of samples according to procedures.
• Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples (moisture, pH, titration, particle size).
• Prepare samples for testing with consistent labeling and documentation per GLP.
• Coordinate with project managers and scientists to plan weekly workload and testing schedules.
• Record test results, enter data into lab systems, and generate routine reports.
