Job summary

Abel & Schafer Inc. in Town of Islip, NY, is hiring for 1st and 2nd shift Warehouse Picker-Receiving to accurately retrieve and deliver products according to customer and company demands. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, scan movements, and ensure safety and FIFO.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a related position, basic math, and the ability to lift 50 lb. Overtime flexibility and strong communication are valued as you support all warehouse

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year in a related role, preferably in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve Picking-List and Shipping Instructions for customer orders.
• Load trucks and unload trucks.
• Print and process Bill of Ladings and Delivery Notes.
• Operate forklift, Hi-Lo, and pallet jack equipment safely.
• Maintain sanitary warehouse conditions and follow SQF, cGMP, SSOP, LOTO rules.
• Assist in receiving and inspection of materials and samples.
• Verify documents for accuracy and communicate issues to supervisor.
