Job summary

TEC Services LLC is hiring a Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness across a food distribution center, from dry to cold storage and exterior grounds. You will clean floors, remove debris, and ensure HACCP/GMP principles are applied while using floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuums.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying environments, and follow safety protocols to keep facilities hygienic and compliant with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation or cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP or GMP is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Detail-oriented and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and dispose of trash, cardboard, shrink wrap, plastic, and other debris in designated areas.
• Move damaged and lost product to identified areas and clean spills and floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in internal and external areas; clean dock plate areas.
• Clean under dock plates/levelers and wipe down equipment lockers, handrails, and trash areas.
• Remove stickers from racks/walls/floors; clean fences and exterior storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness around bins, trash compactor areas, and common areas; follow safety protocols.
