Job summary

Celta Industries, Inc. in Granite City, IL seeks an experienced Forklift Loader/Unloader to safely load and unload trailers and containers in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will work M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm and handle food-grade products with strict sanitation and DOT/OSHA-compliant hazmat procedures. The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of forklift experience, strong attention to documentation (BOL, lot numbers, SDS) and a proven track record in safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years forklift experience in a warehouse.
• Experience with food-grade products and sanitation.
• HAZMAT handling and documentation experience (cert preferred).
• Detail-oriented with lot numbers and paperwork accuracy.
• Able to read shipping documents and SDS.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Background checks and drug testing required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass respirator test.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load/unload trailers and containers.
• Perform food-grade loading/unloading per standards.
• Handle HAZMAT per DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Complete BOL, lot numbers, product IDs, and records.
• Inspect trailers, pallets, and packaging for damage.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections.
• Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and quality teams.
• Assist with inventory counts and rotations.
