Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Food Transporter/Delivery Driver (full time and part time) to deliver food, supplies and other products to units using a vehicle. Location: GEO Prep Academy, 4006 Platt Drive Cafe, Baton Rouge, LA 70814.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Training available. Must have a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
• Valid driver's license ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.
• Loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner.
• Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Provides quality customer service and interacts with coworkers to meet service standards.
