Job summary

Walmart is hiring for a Food and Consumable associate in the United States. You will help customers, merchandise displays, and move merchandise from receiving to sales floor across fresh foods, deli, bakery, dairy, and grocery departments.

In addition to a friendly, customer-focused approach, you will help maintain cleanliness, product dating, and temperature controls, and support various departments as needed. This role offers full-time hours with varying shifts and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and able to assist customers in a grocery environment.
• Merchandising and display setup to meet store standards.
• Stocking and organizing products across departments.
• Food handling and safety basics in deli/bakery/fresh foods.
• Ability to work in fast-paced retail setting and collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness of produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Stock and arrange shelves, create seasonal displays, and ensure proper displays.
• Prepare or assist with ready-to-eat foods and customer orders as needed.
• Support store operations during shifts and help team meet goals.
