Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service with product knowledge, efficiency, and a friendly attitude in our Fresh departments.

You will engage with customers, help them find items, and support attractive displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. You will work in a fast-paced store environment, learn technology tools used for checkout and stocking, and contribute to safe, high-quality, well-organized shelves.

Responsibilities

• As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments.
• You’ll: Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
