Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays fresh and organized.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will stock, rotate, and merchandise across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery while following safety procedures and using available technology to assist customers. Weekly pay and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
