Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, maintain appealing displays, and stock merchandise while using technology to complete tasks efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting. Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
