Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, maintain bright displays, stock, rotate, and merchandise products while following food safety procedures.

You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, learn product details, and use technology to complete tasks accurately. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required; physical activity is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
