Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clean, well-stocked displays in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and help them find items with a friendly, efficient approach.

This role involves stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, using technology for daily tasks, and upholding food safety and quality standards. Availability nights and weekends is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving merchandise.
• Evening and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude and product knowledge.
• Maintain fresh, appealing displays and stock shelves across departments.
• Assist with merchandising, rotation, and safety procedures to ensure store standards.
• Use store technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Support multiple departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
