Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Berkeley, CA is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead service teams and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role centers on supervising staff, coordinating daily F&B operations, and maintaining high service standards.

You will supervise staff, handle guest requests, and uphold safety and sanitation requirements while contributing to a positive, growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of restaurant/bar experience leading shifts.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff
• Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager
• Performs department opening and/or closing duties
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
• Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred
