Job summary

Montage Deer Valley is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead, train, and motivate a dedicated team in a luxury resort setting. You will oversee service standards, manage staff scheduling, and ensure outstanding guest experiences across outlets.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food & beverage operations.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with intermediate computer skills and hospitality software.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties.
• Assist the Department Manager in developing and maintaining service standards.
• Ensure food and beverages are served in a professional and timely manner.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive experience and WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Your Journey

• Train new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties.
• Assist the Department Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of service standards.
• Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

Must Haves

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Prior micros or other systems experience
