Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Storeroom Clerk to support daily operations by receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing food, beverage, and operating supplies. The role helps maintain inventory integrity, product quality, and safety standards across resort outlets.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, documentation, FIFO stock rotation, and timely coordination of supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory or storeroom roles preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and inventory practices.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Professional communication with team members and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Unload, organize, label, and store food, beverage, and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas per health standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment needs.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Distribute products to departments while keeping accurate records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and ensure product freshness.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Maintain receiving and inventory documentation accurately.
• Coordinate supply requests and deliveries to outlets.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns.
• Complete required safety and job-related trainings.

Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Storeroom Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of The Resort at Longboat Key Club by ensuring the accurate receipt, organization, storage, and distribution of food, beverage, and operating supplies. This position helps maintain inventory integrity, ensures product quality and safety standards, and supports the efficient operation of all food and beverage outlets throughout the resort.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition.
• Unload, organize, label, and properly store food, beverage, and operating supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas in accordance with company and health department standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Assist with weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
• Issue products and supplies to departments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices and ensure product freshness.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory documentation.
• Support operational needs by coordinating supply requests and deliveries to various resort outlets.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions, and equipment concerns promptly to management.
• Complete all required safety, compliance, and job-related training certifications.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, receiving, warehouse, storeroom, or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, storage, and inventory management practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Able to lift 50-80 lbs.
