Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Category Management professional to provide day-to-day support for monthly promotional plans and ongoing product tracking in our Knoxville, TN area offices.

You will collaborate with the Category Management team on rollouts, signage, and vendor coordination while ensuring accurate pricing, data handling, and cross-functional communication across the Food & Beverage initiatives. Strong Excel/Tableau skills and organizational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in retail or business is preferred.
• Minimum one year of retail store or merchandising experience preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Data management experience preferred.
• Tableau experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Travel less than 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Management team with rollouts, test initiatives, and signage development processes
• Track delivery of products and programs to stores and through supply chain
• Provide telephone and email support to troubleshoot store level questions and issues related to the category
• Enter pricing and product information into Price Book
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to communicate Food and Beverage initiatives
• Partner with vendors to execute marketing plans through distribution channels and into the stores
• Model behaviors that support the company’s purpose and help guests and team members
• Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
