Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and maintain attractive product displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery, and more.

You will assist customers with questions, stock shelves, and use technology to complete tasks while following safety standards. Applicants should be 18+, be willing to work weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that supports community and family values.

Qualifications

• MUST BE 18 years of age or older.
• Weekend availability preferred.
• No specific degree required; retail/customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Stock products and maintain displays per merchandising standards.
• Utilize store technology to complete tasks and transactions.

Hiring for the following departments: Meat/Seafood- Truck Unloading, Stocking and Service Counter Dairy/Frozen- Stocking, Cooler/Freezer Organization and breaking down pallets of product onto carts Deli- Stocking and Service Counter (slicer, rotisserie oven and fryer) Grocery- Truck Unloading, Stocking, Backroom Organization, and Bottle Room Produce- Stocking and Cooler Organization

Responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising. MUST BE 18 years of age or older Looking for those interested in working weekends

• This position is applicable to the following departments: Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery.
