Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Food and Nutritional Service Associate to maintain cleanliness, organization and distribution within the Food & Nutrition department. The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1+ year healthcare experience, and Food Handlers or ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.

Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time.

Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.

Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
