Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a PRN Food and Nutritional Service Associate to join the Food & Nutrition team. You will be responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies, supporting patient meals and ensuring safety and quality.

You will follow HIPAA guidelines, maintain uniforms, and strive for patient, family, and physician satisfaction while aligning with the HCA Healthcare mission and values.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness, organization and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Follow patient safety, infection control practices and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance; support patient, customer and physician satisfaction.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.

Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time.

Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.

Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
