Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group seeks a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager with an emphasis on Banquet Operations to join our team. We value hospitality, respect, and authentic service across our 200+ locations.

As part of SHG, you’ll lead banquet service, train staff, and ensure quality food & beverage standards while maintaining a positive associate culture and flexible scheduling, including holidays and weekends.

• Experience in banquet and hotel F&B operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage banquet operations for the hotel and assist in outlets as needed.
• Provide training, direction, supervision and hands-on support.
• Direct associates and supervisors to meet banquet goals and service standards.
• Ensure food and beverage quality and safety per brand requirements.
• Hire and train service staff; maintain positive team environment.
• Coordinate communication and conflict resolution among team members.
• Process bi-weekly payroll; handle inventory and hospitality supplies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing the Banquet operations for the Hotel and work in the outlets as needed.
• Providing training, direction, supervision and hands on support
• Direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the banquet and food and beverage operation(s)
• Ensure the proper preparation of food and beverages to the satisfaction of our guests, brand and ensures all safety, health and hygiene requirements are consistently met
• Hire and Train service staff
• Ensure direct and facilitate communication, engagement and conflict resolutions as needed by the team to ensure a positive associate environment.
• Processes bi-weekly payroll
• Inventory, ordering supplies
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a high school diploma or certificate, post high school education and degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years food and beverage supervisory experience required. Should be in a similar size restaurant operation
