Job summary

Six Flags New England is looking for food and beverage team members to prepare, serve, or sell food across park locations. You’ll join a fast-paced team delivering fun, tasty options and excellent guest service.

In this role you will greet guests, take orders, upsell menu items, and handle transactions at the POS. Training is provided, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and reach throughout shift.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest experiences at Six Flags locations.
• Prepare or close food locations per location procedures.
• Engage with guests, answer questions and take orders.
• Operate POS cash registers and process transactions and discounts.
• Maintain clean workspaces and ensure safety standards.
• Support other areas of the Food & Beverage Department.

Responsibilities:

• Providing an enjoyable and friendly experience to Six Flags guests
• Preparing or closing food locations based on location procedures
• Addressing guest questions and concerns
• Greeting and interacting with guests as they come to your location
• Taking guests’ orders, offering suggestions and upsells about different menu items
• Feeding hungry guests promptly and satisfy growling stomachs with fresh, made-to-order food
• Operating Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, processing transactions and discounts
• Preparing a wide variety of food items from double bacon cheeseburgers and ice-cold soft drinks to delectable funnel cake sundaes and more
• Filling condiment dispensers, wiping down tables, washing dishes, and keeping all areas clean and safe for guests
• Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
• Assisting in other areas of the Food & Beverage Department

Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
