Job summary

Onni Group seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Office Manager in Chicago to handle payroll, scheduling, onboarding, and staff training, while supervising daily operations of the Emily Hotel's primary restaurant outlet. You will collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager and Director of Hotel Operations to optimize service quality and profitability, and support other F&B operations as needed.

The role requires prior restaurant experience, OSHA safety knowledge, and relevant hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience working in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of safety initiatives in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Education in hospitality management, culinary arts, business administration or similar required.
• If applicable, must meet required minimum age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tipsheets are filled out daily.
• Submit accurate payroll biweekly.
• Ensure ordering is being completed and consistent.
• Review daily sales and resolve discrepancies with Accounting.
• Participate in weekly schedules and adjust staffing as needed.
• Assign work and side duties to staff per procedures.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and assist with training topics.
• Maintain knowledge of house accounts and arrivals.

This will include, but not limited to, payroll, scheduling, onboarding, preparing training documents. Along with the administration portion, will also be responsible for supervision of the day-to-day operation of the primary restaurant outlet in the Emily Hotel on a as needed basis. Oversees and maintains a service and supervisor philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. Works closely with the Restaurant General Manager and Director of Hotel Operations to monitor the effectiveness of the services and products offered in the restaurant and adjust accordingly to ensure maximum profitability.
