Job Summary: The Racquet Club of Irvine is becoming a premier tennis club in Orange County and the greater Southern California area. We encourage a healthy work/life balance and offer a fun environment for employees and members alike.

We are renovating all our facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, newly resurfaced courts, and a new bar/restaurant and clubhouse. We are hiring a food & beverage manager to help create an exciting new era at the Racquet Club of Irvine, providing a great food and beverage experience for our members and guests. The F&B manager will oversee all food and beverage operations, including culinary, restaurant, beverage, kitchen, service, and facility management. A unique aspect of this position is input into menu design, team hiring, and building out the bar/restaurant software (Toast). We seek individuals who are customer service-oriented, encouraging, and capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests, and staff.

Job Description:

Manage operations of the Racquet Club of Irvine's Bar, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. The ideal candidate will exceed expectations with friendliness and customer service, ensuring a quality F&B experience. Responsibilities include adhering to all applicable laws, developing and implementing budgets and business plans, and hiring the F&B team.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement a food and beverage strategy aligned with the club's vision and culture.
  • Oversee menu development, focusing on appropriate items, creativity, cost control, and quality.
  • Hire, lead, and mentor culinary and service professionals.
  • Establish positive vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Analyze financial performance including revenue, expenses, and profitability goals.
  • Implement training programs to elevate service standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to promote F&B offerings.
  • Provide excellent customer service to attract and retain members.
  • Present a professional image reflecting well on the organization.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in food and beverage management or related field
  • Strong understanding of culinary and service standards
  • Focus on guest and staff satisfaction
  • Proficient in budget management and financial reporting
  • Leadership and team-building skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
  • Experience in high-volume, luxury dining, or private club environments
  • Certifications in food safety and alcohol service
