Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Hawthorns Northampton Care Home in Upton, Northampton. You will support dining services and assist residents with meals, helping ensure a welcoming, well-presented front of house.

Successful candidates will show strong personal hygiene, compassion for residents, and experience in similar settings; a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial, and a DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support dining services and assist residents with their meals.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and provide finger foods and fresh fruit options.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents dietary requirements.

ABOUT YOU
