Job summary

Arc After School & Experiential Education is seeking a Folklorico Dance Instructor to plan and deliver dance instruction across styles, developing students' technique, creativity, discipline, and performance abilities.

The role prepares students for performances, competitions, and assessments; requires teaching and professional dance experience with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field.
• Professional dance training and/or certification.
• Experience in teaching or professional dance performance.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote physical fitness, safety, and injury prevention.
• Organize dance productions and community performances.
• Foster teamwork, confidence, and artistic expression.
