Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking an Insert Folding Operator in Raleigh, NC. The role involves setting up and maintaining insert folding equipment, locating and preparing flatstock, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure quality output.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years related experience, and the ability to read and follow complex instructions. Overtime may be required during busy periods, with opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain insert folding equipment.
• Locate flatstock to prepare for folding inserts and outserts.
• Perform all required preventative machine maintenance.
• Make readies and minor adjustments to produce inserts.
• Operate insert folding equipment as needed.
• Adhere to 6S, SOPs and work instructions.
• Make trays and shippers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Adheres to 6S, SOP’s and work instructions.
• Makes trays and shippers as needed.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• High school diploma or G.E.D).
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and write complex instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
