Job summary

Southern Champion Tray, LP is seeking a dedicated lead operator to monitor the safety, setup, quality, and production of folder gluer machines within the Finishing area. The role actively supports production crews to meet quality standards, target run speeds, and efficiencies aligned with machine standards and customer specs.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years in machine operation with at least 1 year in a lead role, and experience with folder gluer machines in folding carton

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of machine operator experience including lead responsibilities.
• Experience with folder gluer machines in folding carton operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, setup, quality, and production of folder gluer machines.
• Support production crews to meet quality, run speeds and efficiency.
• Coordinate with supervisors on schedule and job requirements.
• Ensure quality checks and approvals for all jobs per SCT standards.
• Oversee training and onboarding of new team members.
• Address issues, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions as needed.
