Job summary
Mamahuhu is seeking a friendly and positive FOH Team Member to join our front of house. We operate a casual, fast-paced dining room and value teamwork and a strong guest experience.
You’ll run food, bus the dining room, hold down the POS counter, take orders, answer the phone, and occasionally support the expediter in the kitchen. Flexible lunch and dinner shifts are available to fit our needs.
Qualifications
- Ideally at least 1 year of hospitality experience.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work lunch/dinner shifts.
- Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset.
- Sense of urgency and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Appreciates food as a way to bring people together.
- Experience with or interest in Chinese cuisine is a plus.
- Strong hospitality and service orientation.
Responsibilities

With experience spanning fine dining to fast casual, China to California, our team is united by a shared love for Chinese-American food and a commitment to sustainability, quality sourcing, and community.

Mamahuhu is growing its front of house team. We have a casual, 40-seat dining room with bench, counter and booth seating. The dining room is designed for counter-service style ordering where guests line up, order at the counter, receive a number and we bring the food out to them when it's ready. The front of house is designed to be simple and lean and works great when we have a tight, organized group who can work efficiently and as a team.

You’ll run food, bus the dining room, hold down our point of sale (POS) counter during service, take orders, answer the phone, and occasionally support our expediter in the kitchen. The position is dynamic and requires someone who is comfortable jumping in wherever needed and working as part of a team.
