Job summary

SP Industries Inc. seeks a Focus Factory Manager in Gardiner, NY to oversee the complete value stream and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery and cost; coordinating planning, materials, and customer service to meet ship dates for SP Scientific units.

You will lead a team to optimize performance using Lean tools, implement staffing plans, and foster development through mentoring and performance reviews in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing management / supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Operations Management and modern LEAN manufacturing methods.
• Experience of ERP systems.
• ISO 9001 experience.
• Associates degree / equivalent or above in engineering or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the value stream from order receipt to manufacturing, testing and shipment.
• Lead focus factory using Visual Management System and KPIs to drive performance.
• Coordinate staffing, planning, scheduling and purchasing for cost-effective production.
• Develop cross-product training and kaizen activities to improve productivity and quality.
