Job summary

KPS Global in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate production equipment under supervision, following established procedures to meet quality, safety and efficiency standards.

You will read job orders and blueprints, handle materials with lifting equipment, complete electronic paperwork, perform pre-shift maintenance and maintain 5S housekeeping, contributing to timely, accurate manufacturing for cold storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Operating manual production machinery and equipment.
• Loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials using lifting equipment when available.
• Completing and maintaining electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding, checklists, shipping/receiving documents.

Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Operating manual production machinery and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and blue prints to select, position, and secure machinery and materials.
• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available.
• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blue prints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and scanning of materials.
• Performing pre-shift preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
