Job summary

Abacus Corporation in Mint Hill, NC is seeking a CDL driver for direct hire. You will operate hydro excavation trucks to pothole, trench, tunnel, and locate utility lines, while maintaining water pressure up to 3000 psi and strict safety and DOT compliance.

Requirements include Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, current DOT medical card, CPR/First Aid certification, ability to pass drug screen and background check, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Operate hydro excavation trucks for potholing, trenching, tunneling and locating utility lines.
• Manage water pressure up to 3000 psi.
• Complete paperwork and service tickets as needed.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and DOT regulations during operations.
• Maintain clear communication with team and customers.
• Work as part of a two-person crew and maintain regular attendance.
• Pass CPR and First Aid training.

Direct Hire

Pay: $30-34/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

** Must have aClass B CDL with Tanker Endorsement **

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operating hydro excavation trucks to perform potholing, trenching, tunneling, locating utility lines, subsurface utility engineering and cleaning tasks
• Manage water pressure of 3000psi
• Completing paperwork, forms, IPad service tickets and records as needed
• Follow all company and OSHA mandated safety policies and procedures.
• Follow local and federal DOT Regulations while assisting in the operation of machinery and vehicles
• Good communication with other employees and customers.
• Regular Attendance as part of a 2 man crew
• Pass CPR and First Aid Training

Minimal requirements include:
