Job summary

Premier Pain & Spine Center in Nashville seeks a Fluoroscopy Technician to support physicians in interventional pain procedures. You will operate C-arm fluoroscopy, assist with imaging and ensure safety protocols.

You will prep rooms, maintain equipment, and help with DEXA and PET scans while documenting procedures and maintaining sterilization and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in medical imaging techniques, particularly fluoroscopy procedures.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
• Demonstrated understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices in a clinical setting.
• Ability to operate advanced medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Certification or licensure as a radiologic technologist or fluoroscopy technician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specialized scans such as DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans for bone density assessment and PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans for metabolic activity analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration logs.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control practices.
• Support the setup and calibration of imaging devices, including understanding complex anatomy and medical terminology to optimize image quality.
