We are searching for an Assistant Research Professorto jointhe Fluids Research Departmentat the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State.The Department is part of the Fluid Dynamics Division within the Fluid Dynamics and Acoustics Office, which has a long, successful history of providing innovative solutions and technology to a range of U.S. Government and Industry sponsors. This role will support and conduct basic and applied research in fluid mechanics, investigating a wide range of areas of hydrodynamics interest, including complex single and multi-phase flows, cavitating flows, marine vehicles, turbomachinery, and renewable energy production.

Your working location will be on-site in State College, PA with some flexibility to work from home. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. This role requires periodic travel to remote locations.
