Job summary

Blue Origin's Fluid Systems Intern Projects program in Huntsville invites undergraduates to join a hands-on engineering team. You will collaborate with Blue engineers on design, analysis and test of fluid components, propulsion, and mechanical systems for spaceflight applications.

Interns receive mentorship, participate in cross-team activities, and contribute to real programs while developing practical skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++ in a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in Blue Origin's mission.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.
• Assist in design, analysis and test of fluid components and systems, propulsion systems and mechanical systems.
• Engage in mentorship and contribute to project milestones and deliverables.
