Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Fluid Technician at the Keene, NH site to perform fluid sampling for concentration control using refractometry and titration, and to maintain the fluid management dashboard.

The role involves coordinating fluid changeouts with maintenance, managing inventory, and communicating findings to the customer management team. First shift, 40–45 hours per week, with opportunities for development and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree required; Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
  • Applicants must be US citizens and pass background/security check and drug test.
  • Six Sigma certification and/or similar experience preferred.
  • Experience in handling Metalworking/Manufacturing Fluids and/or Machine Lubricants preferred, but not required.
  • Industry experience with metalworking processes and fluids preferred.
  • Ability to work with all levels of client personnel, from operators to plant management.
  • No electrical or hydraulic knowledge required; training provided.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fluid sampling for concentration control with refractometer and titration.
  • Maintain fluid management dashboard and communicate findings/recommendations to client management.
  • Coordinate fluid changeouts with maintenance team; manage inventory and purchasing.
  • Provide metalworking concentrate adds and monitor lubricant additions; maintain storage areas.
  • Support Brenntag program and engineering manager with site tasks at Keene, NH facility.

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Our company providesFluid Management& Engineering Services for Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Precision Bearing, Defense industries with monitoring/maintaining their metalworking fluids consisting ofcoolants, cutting oil,cleaners, rust preventatives, lubricants, etc.

  • Primary role is performing fluid sampling for concentration control with refractometer and titration, maintaining our Fluid

  • Management Dashboard, communicate findings/recommendations to customer management team, communicate rechargesof fluids to maintenance team lead, inventory management, purchasing of fluids, coordinate fluid changeouts with maintenance team, provide metalworking concentrate adds to customer, monitor lubricant adds, maintain fluids and lubricant storage area.

We help our customers with the manufacturing of Jet Engines, Helicopters, Airplane Landing Gear.

Your Profile
Education and Experience:
  • Engineering degree required, Chemical Engineering degree preferred.

  • Seeking an applicant who is hard-working, follows direction, works well with others and independently, and ability to manager detail.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of client’s personnel, from the operator levelthrough plant management is required.

  • Experience in handling Metalworking/Manufacturing Fluids and/or Machine Lubricants preferred, but not a requirement.

  • No electrical or hydraulic knowledge or experience required. Site Leader/Fluid Technician will be trained and report to Brenntag Program and Engineering Manager.

  • Applicants must have valid driver’s license reliable transportation. Environmental, health and safety training will be provided.

  • The current position will be located at our client’s Keene, NH manufacturing facility.

  • Currently looking for a first shift technician, 40-45 hours per week.
