Job summary

Fort Collins, CO is seeking an automotive technician to perform fluid checks and basic maintenance, including oil changes and transmission fluid checks. The role involves inspecting belts, filters, air levels, and gauges, with training provided in use of electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities include testing systems, diagnosing issues, driving the vehicle for testing, and performing repairs. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and learn repair procedures.
• Comfortable using electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of automobiles and strong math/computer skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
